First time in Prague

Prague is a place I’d heard so much about and really wanted to visit. Finally, In January 2017, my girlfriend and I spent 4 days, 3 nights there. Hopefully this blog will help first time visitors experience the highlights this city has to offer. We didn’t research much before our trip apart from the weather. The temperature reached -11 degrees and peaked at -2 during out stay. Having never experienced this kind of cold before, we were...

Krakow, Poland. It’s a little bit awesome.

Late November 2015, my brother and I spent 3 days / 2 nights in Krakow, Poland. Krakow is a beautiful city and the second largest in Poland. As with the other destinations we visited on the Oriana, there was a helpful factsheet in the cruise welcome pack that I took ashore, also tourist information just off the ship provided us with a well illustrated map...

A day docked in Malaga

The second stop on my P&O Oriana cruise was Malaga. We docked early today, when I woke up we were already in port and ready for disembarkation. I could get used to waking up with a new destination to explore each day. It is a very easy process exiting the ship. You are directed to which part of the ship the gangways are located, you then have your cruise card scanned which keeps a register of who is onboard and ashore, and then...
